This was designed to help contain a driveshaft in the event of a u joint failure. This is not a full containment device, only protection from the top. 
I can customize this with a logo or small saying or words if you would like. If not specified it will come plain steel. 
Mounting flange is 3/16in. steel, cover plate is 1/8 in. steel.
